Driver Education Summer Program
Driver Education will be offered this summer at Wiregrass Ranch High School. The dates are from June 12th to June 26th at Wiregrass Ranch High School. The course will span through 11 days. The course will provide approximately 30 hours of classroom instruction and the remaining time will be hands-on driving experience and practice. This course does not provide high school credit but a certificate of completion will be awarded when the class is successfully passed.
We require that the student has a ride available every day for drop-off and pick-up from school. The cost of the course is $175. Please make the check out to James Irvin Education Center. The class times will vary each day as the course includes class time and driving skills scheduled at various hours of the day. In addition, the course has the following requirements:
- Student must have a learners permit.
- Student must have access to a ride to and from Wiregrass Ranch for the above-mentioned schedule.
This is a great course for anyone trying to improve his or her driving skills in preparation for the road test. There is limited space available for this course. It will be first come, first serve as we expect this class to fill up quickly.
