After School Driving Lessons

Wiregrass Ranch High School


Instructor: Mr. Finkel

Description: After school driving lessons are being offered at WRHS this year. A session will be available each semester. The course will provide approximately 5 hours of road experience. If the student is ready, an official road test will be provided as well.

Where: The lessons will be provided at WRHS. The meeting location will be near the bus loop.

When: The driving days that are available are Mondays and Wednesdays barring any days that the county schools may have off. An individualized schedule will be provided after you register.

Time: The driving times will begin at 2:30 and end around 3:40.

Cost: The cost of the course is $175. Please make checks out to FKMTC (Fred K. Marchman Technical College. You will complete a registration form for the course and submit that along with the payment to Mr. Finkel in room 4-139.

Policy and Procedures:

Please arrive at the drop off 5 minutes early to ensure you are on time. Parents will be required to be at the pick-up at 3:35 to ensure students are picked up immediately so they are not on the campus for any extended time.

Student drivers will be responsible for the following:

1. A permit is needed every drive

2. Corrective lenses or contacts that are required must be worn

3. Shoes must have a strap or a back. Slides are not allowed!

4. Masks will be worn

5. Disposable driving gloves will be provided
